Alexander Kime

Alaska Horsemen Trail Adventures, established in Cooper Landing in 1997 by Alexander Kime, offers immersive experiences in the Kenai Peninsula's backcountry. With over thirty years of exploring the area by horseback, their services include guided tours in the Chugach National Forest and Kenai National Wildlife Refuge, along with cabin rentals and group retreats at their pioneer-style lodge. Named in honor of the early packers of the Tustumena and Kenai Mountains, it captures the essence of Alaskan exploration and adventure.

The Alaska Horsemen Lodge provides a scenic getaway in the mountains, featuring horseback riding, comfortable cabin and wall tent accommodations, and RV parking. Ideal for various events like corporate retreats and family reunions, the lodge offers a serene setting near Kenai Lake, about 100 miles from Anchorage. Guests can enjoy tranquil trail rides and the hospitality of host Alex Kime, who brings over 50 years of Alaskan experience. With facilities for about 40 people, plus camping and RV spots, the lodge is conveniently located near fishing areas, beaches, and local amenities, offering a unique and peaceful Alaskan experience.
